The California primary is right around the corner. I know you've been getting a lot of emails competing for your attention lately, but I hope you'll read this one.

The truth is, this election isn't about these emails.

It isn't about red or blue or Democrat or Republican.

It's not about me.

And it definitely isn't about Mike Garcia.

This election is about doing the hard work to make our country better. It's why I'm in this fight, and why I hope you'll chip in a little bit — $5 or whatever you can afford — so we can hit our $7,000 Get Out the Vote fundraising goal before the June 7th primary.

This election is about workers on the frontlines fighting for better pay.

It's for people with uteruses and their absolute right to control their bodies.

It's about making our system fair and equitable for working class people.

It's about making sure parents don't have to live in fear for their children's lives when they send them to school.

So, yes, I know we've sent a lot of emails lately, but I think they're worth it because fighting hard for change is worth it.
