Dear John,
Black and Latinx small business owners play a critical role in job creation for low- and moderate-income communities and the quality of those jobs has a multiplier effect on community wellbeing and economic growth. With that in mind, Prosperity Now teamed up with the Gates Foundation to conduct a pilot study on job quality in small businesses owned by Black and Latinx entrepreneurs and the ways that Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), funders and policymakers can better support quality job creation.
