Dear Friends,

This Saturday afternoon, Austrian-born thereminist and composer Dorit Chrysler will use several theremin instruments to engage with Yoko Ono's "Wish Tree" installation in the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden. Throughout the weekend, a number of workshops and performances will take place within the framework of the Sound Scene 2022 festival.

On Wednesday, June 15, join us in our space for a dual exhibition opening - design exhibition Dieter Rams: A Look Back and Ahead will run until July 15, and photo exhibition Aphra Adkins: Savor the Flavor will run until mid-September.

What rights do we consider to be "human rights" or "inalienable rights," and how do we determine this? In the latest episode of Hannah Arendt: Between Worlds, podcast host Samantha Rose Hill discusses the topic of rights with guest Stephanie de Gooyer.
