My primary election is at the end of the month, and right now I’m neck-and-neck with my scandal-plagued opponent.

I’ve proudly served IL-06 for two terms. Last year, I attended over 160 community events and held over 230 constituent meetings so that I could better know the people that make up IL-06 and their priorities. I’ve always put this district first.

But right now, polling shows that I’m ahead of my opponent by just single digits. And with a race as competitive as mine, that’s too close for comfort.
