Climate legislation. Now.
Friend over the past few weeks, we?ve reached out with key updates on the climate bill currently working its way through Congress.
This is the most important environmental legislation in a generation. It includes $550 billion for climate, clean energy, jobs, and environmental justice and is essential to put our country on track to curb climate change. It?s already passed in the House. And now senators are furiously negotiating a final deal.
We can?t stop our campaign. Not when we?re so close to the finish line -- so we?re asking:
Make an emergency donation today. Keep the pressure up until the Senate votes. Help reach our $25,000 goal -- even $5 can make a difference right now >> [link removed]
Earlier this month, we brought advocates from around the country to Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers and make the case for action. Now, we?re flooding their offices with calls and letters. Our policy team is holding daily meetings with Senators and leaders on Capitol Hill.
Here?s the thing -- our Senate push comes after over a year of grassroots campaigning around the country, knocking on hundreds of thousands of doors, placing yard signs, holding events, and so much more. We got this bill through the House. Now, senators are back at the table, trying to hammer out an agreement.
The truth is, we need your help to keep this going. A campaign of this magnitude has been like running back-to-back marathons. But we have to keep it going until the Senate votes.
Your contribution is SO, SO, SO critical right now. Anything you can afford -- even if it?s $5 -- helps. [link removed]
Don?t wait. Give today. Thanks for all you do for our climate, Friend.
