Hi John!
We are absolutely
thrilled to announce our emcee and first speaker… 🥁 Drumroll 🥁 please…
Party for Something will be emceed by Virginia state Delegate (and the first openly transgender state legislator to be elected),
Danica Roem. As a former singer in a metal band, accomplished yogi, and dedicated LGBTQIA+ icon and activist,
we know she's going to make the night unforgettable.
We are also stoked to announce our first speaker, Florida state Representative
Anna Eskamani. You know her from being on the front lines fighting for abortion rights and gun control in one of the most contentious states in the U.S. She's fierce and she's ready to bring the heat to Party for Something.
Get your passes today. Free food, free drink, and the most fun you'll have supporting diverse young progressives and pushing our country in a better, more democratic direction.
Let's party,
Amanda Litman

P.S. Yup, we're still in a pandemic. So we'll be outdoors and require proof of vaccination. Masks won't be required, but we'll provide them for free for anyone who wants them. If you've got any other concerns or requests, just reply to this email, and our team will follow up.
Run for Something is a grassroots-powered organization that recruits and empowers young progressives running for local office, with the goal of winning permanent power for decades to come. We've elected over 600 diverse young progressives to power by relying on support from grassroots donors pitching in a little to create big change. Please chip in now to help us continue running and winning.
