Dear John,

How many more lives lost to gun violence will it take to make a change? The nation watched yet another tragedy unfold last week in Uvalde, Texas taking 22 lives—including 19 young children. What are we doing to make sure that doesn’t happen at the school down the road? What are we doing to ensure a safer NC?

We are fighting for smart gun safety laws but we need your help. Unfortunately, the news cycle will move on in the next few weeks but our fight will continue. We will continue to advocate for proven efforts to reduce gun violence such as smart gun laws, safe gun storage, and community intervention programs. So we are asking you today, can we count on you to commit to a recurring gift to North Carolinians Against Gun Violence Action Fund?

Our fight for safer gun laws will continue in the weeks and months to come. We need leaders at the state level willing to enact laws and fight for these changes.

Give today to help us hold our current and future elected officials accountable!

Your donations to the North Carolinians Against Gun Violence Action Fund ensure we have staff on the ground and in the offices of elected leaders to fight for change. This is an election year and your support is more important than ever. We must ensure we have gun safety advocates in the NC General Assembly and Senate.

Commit to a monthly donation to fight for safer schools, safer churches, safer grocery stores, safer streets, and a safer state—free from gun violence.

We can’t lose hope now. This fight isn’t new, and we won’t see change overnight. Join us today with a recurring monthly gift to fight for a safer NC. We have no time to waste.

Sincerely,
Becky Ceartas

P.S. If you prefer to make a tax-deductible contribution, please make a monthly donation commitment to NCGV Education Fund to support our public education and awareness campaigns to build support for a safer NC.
