Dear Friend,
Ruth’s List Florida could not be more excited to announce our latest endorsement — Michele Rayner for House District 62. Michele received our endorsement when she first ran for the state house in 2020, making history as the first openly gay Black woman to serve in the legislature.
Born and raised in Pinellas County, Michele is a widely respected civil rights attorney and social justice advocate. She previously served as an Assistant Public Defender and as counsel for the local NAACP Legal Defense Fund. In addition to her professional work, Michele is a dedicated community leader who volunteers with organizations including the Delta Theta Sorority, Inc., the Fred G. Minnis Bar Association, and the NAACP. We’re thrilled to lend our support to Michelle’s reelection campaign for House District 62. By making a contribution today, you can help ensure she has the resources to win!. Donate here or click on the graphic below.
