No one in the Congress has a longer or stronger record on supporting bio-technology research, lowering prescription drug costs and strengthening our healthcare system.

Long before COVID, I wrote the nation’s Pandemic Vaccine and Drug Development Act which led to the speedy development of the life-saving vaccines we now have.

And during the current session of Congress, I helped push through the House of Representatives an increased use of the federal government’s purchasing power to lower prescription drug costs and a cap on the price of insulin.

I have consistently voted to protect and expand Medicare benefits and voted against every attempt to privatize it.

In any political campaign there are those who will use selected bits of actual information to create disinformation. I have faith in the intelligence of the voters and would appreciate the opportunity to continue serving you in Congress.
