It's officially one of our favorite times of the year: Pride Month! We can't wait to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Chicago's LGBTQ+ communities over the next 30 days!



This month is a time to come together to celebrate who we are, who we love and the families we create.

As Chicago's first openly gay mayor, Lori E. Lightfoot is determined to make Chicago as welcoming and inclusive as possible. That's why she created the LGBTQ+ Advisory Council, expanded the flexible housing pool to include LGBTQ+ youth, and helped revise Chicago Police Department policies to ensure more positive interactions with non-binary, intersex, and transgender individuals.

We hope that you will join Mayor Lightfoot in celebrating our LGBTQ+ community throughout the month
