Friends,

Despite our best efforts, most energy in Massachusetts still comes from fossil fuels. Today, we have a chance to change this.

There's a hearing at the State House on a bill that would put our state on the road to 100% renewable energy.  You can ensure that we take this essential step on the road to the Green New Deal by sending a message to your legislator.

Fossil fuels are a social justice issue. They disproportionately hurt low income communities and people of color, polluting our air and water, harming our health, and further disrupting our climate. Let's use our people power to safeguard our communities.

In solidarity,

Ask Your Rep To Attend Today's 100% Renewables Energy Hearing

Today from 1-5 pm, the joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities, and Energy will be reviewing several key pieces of environmental legislation, including H.2836, a bill filed by Representatives Decker and Garballey that would commit Massachusetts to 100% renewable electricity by 2035 and 100% renewable energy economy-wide by 2045. Use this form to urge your rep to go to the hearing!
