Volunteer with SFTR to make sure people vote Yes on Prop A this June 7!

Proposition A will create a more reliable, up-to-date public transit system, one that combats climate change, works to get people out of cars and onto transit, and helps San Francisco meet its equity, livability and climate goals by supporting a faster, safer and more reliable Muni service that centers the needs of riders. But we need your help. San Francisco Transit Riders needs volunteers to help get out the word about Proposition A at Muni Heritage Day this Saturday. You do not need to be an SFTR member to volunteer (though we hope you'll consider joining!).

Join KidsSafeSF in getting out the vote for Prop A!

KidsSafeSF is hosting a virtual text bank for Prop A, TODAY, Wednesday June 1, from 5pm-6pm. Right now, voter turnout is low, so the text bank will focus on getting people to the polls or making sure they return their ballot!

Welcome to our new Southeast Community Organizer, William!

As Southeast Community Organizer, William Walker leads rider engagement and outreach events in San Francisco neighborhoods most impacted by the negative externalities of transportation infrastructure. William will attend community events and gather rider perspectives in an effort to ensure the community is a partner with SFMTA and other city departments working to make improvements in the community. Welcome to the team!

Make your voice heard by participating in SFTR and SFMTA surveys!

SFTR wants to hear your voice, Bayview!

San Francisco Transit Riders is seeking community input on current transit needs, and priorities from people who live, work or play in the Bayview. We will use this survey to advocate for public transit improvements that are important to the Bayview community.

Tell SFMTA what you think of their Visitation Valley & Portola Community Based Transportation Planning Project

SFMTA is looking for your feedback! They received input from Visitacion Valley and Portola community members on streets needing transportation improvements, and turned this input into a series of potential projects across the community.

Now, they need you to tell us what they got right, what they got wrong, and what they missed altogether. SFMTA will use your input to come up with a final set of projects for the Community Based Transportation Plan, to be shared with the public for additional feedback.

Take the M Ocean View Transit and Safety Project Survey

The M Ocean View Transit and Safety Project aims to improve reliability, as well as improve safety and accessibility between Junipero Serra Boulevard and Balboa Park BART Station in San Francisco’s Ocean View district. Have feedback about the M Ocean View? Take the M Ocean View survey.

Give feedback on the 36 Teresita on Myra Way

SFMTA is evaluating several potential measures to address concerns about the 36 Teresita. They're looking for feedback on the various options they are considering!
