Our bills have advanced!

Last week, three of NPH’s sponsored bills passed the Assembly floor:

• AB 2011 (Wicks) passed with a 48-11 vote. This bill would help keep affordable homes affordable.
   
• AB 2244 (Wicks) passed with a 76-0 vote. This bill would allow faith-based institutions to use their land for affordable housing.
   
• AB 3257 (Ting) passed with a 54-19 vote. This bill would provide critical updates to the Surplus Lands Act.

These bills represent a critical step toward housing justice in our state. Learn more about all of our sponsored legislation and take action on these bills.

EVENT: State Budget Round Up: Final State Budget Agreement and Assessment for Future Fiscal Years, Thursday, June 23 (1:00PM - 2:30PM PT) NPH Policy Director Abram Diaz will moderate a discussion on how much of the finalized state budget was allocated to housing and homelessness priorities, what this means for this fiscal year, and what we can expect for future budget discussions.
