Bernie, Warren, Buttigieg, Biden: Together, 2020 Democrats have CRUSHED fundraising expectations – raising over $80 MILLION in the last quarter combined and hitting more than 200,000 donors each to make the debate stage. 

But here’s the major downside of all this presidential primary hype: Grassroots Democrats are ignoring down-ballot elections in 2020, including critical AG seats that have been a check on Republicans’ anti-woman, anti-environment, anti-democracy agenda since day one.

Even if we win back the White House, we CANNOT afford to cede control of the states to Republicans who will enact Trump’s extreme right-wing agenda across the country. And make no mistake: Republicans are already preparing to spend HUGE amounts of money to prop up Trump-like AG candidates.

We thought Democrats would jump at the chance to wipe out statewide Republicans in 2020, but we just checked our weekly fundraising stats, and with everyone focused on the presidential race, it’s not looking good for the rest of the party.
