My campaign manager, Alyssa, just sent around an email about what she's thankful for. And, I figured it was only right that I took some time to tell you all what I'm thankful for.

In the past year, I've had a lot to be thankful for. I began my role as the representative of this 48th Congressional District of California, giving me the opportunity to work with 434 other representatives to pass legislation on behalf of all of you.

In this time of conflict and polarization, I don't think it's said enough that we, representatives, are thankful for all of you for giving us this chance to serve.

So, during this time of gratefulness, I want to pause and sincerely thank you. You believe in the spirit of civic engagement needed to strengthen our democracy. That's why I'm asking if you'll engage again to support my campaign?



Serving in the House of Representatives has been the honor of a lifetime. And I'm hoping that next Thanksgiving, I'll look back after being re-elected and reflect again on how lucky I am.
