Hi John,
It's time to Run for Roe — and I'm here to help!
Well, me and some friends like: former President of Planned Parenthood and activist Cecile Richards, Rhode Island state Senator Tiara Mack, candidate for Texas state Representative Becca Moyer DeFelice, and Washtenaw Prosecutor Eli Savit.
Run for Something asked if we'd help diverse young progressives Run for Roe, and we said, "Heck yes."
Join us TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET for a FREE event for diverse young progressives who are ready to Run for Roe. RSVP here to take the first step to protecting abortion access in your community.
While the Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade, it's more important than ever that our state and local elected officials protect and expand reproductive freedom in their communities.
State legislators can block anti-reproductive health bills and abortion bans from passing at the state level.
City council members can help fund clinics that provide free and affordable reproductive health care.
School board members can ensure that students are taught comprehensive and evidence-based sex education that keeps them safe and informed.
All of these offices can make a huge difference in whether or not abortion is accessible in your community. I know this because
they were there for me. And they're why I ran for the State House back in 2018, flipping my seat from red to blue.
Now I'm asking you to do the same: Run for Roe.
Run for Something will be with you every step of the way, starting TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET. I'll be there with pro-choice champions who can answer your questions.
Thank you for stepping up. I hope to see you tonight,
Anna V. Eskamani
Florida State Representative
