I'm going to ask if you can make your first donation to our campaign to help catch up to our fundraising deadline by the end of the day. But before that, I want to talk about why hitting this goal is powerfully important.
Whether or not we reach our goal tonight will make a real difference in the types of investments we can make going forward. And the next few weeks are vital for this movement we're building together.
But even though we're behind our goal, I'm not busy courting wealthy donors at some exclusive event right now to ask for their help. I'm not spending all day calling up so-and-so on the phone and asking if they can write us a ginormous check.
Instead, I'm reaching out to you. Because this campaign is all about you, not special interests or the rich and powerful, and it's powered by grassroots donors.

2020 is just around the corner, and soon people from across the country will be getting out to caucus and getting out to vote in the Democratic Primary.
We will continue to do what we've always done: hosting town halls, knocking on doors, and sharing face-to-face conversations with people and inspiring them to join this fight.
