It’s important to take a moment to reflect, friend.
In the coming days, Parliamentarians will return to Ottawa so that we can continue to build a better and more sustainable Canada for our families. Since 2015, we have been making real progress to invest in our middle class, grow our economy, and protect our environment and make life more affordable — and I know I can speak for all of the Liberal team when I say that our progress is only possible because of you, friend
But there’s still much more hard work ahead of us than behind us. We’re seeing the urgency of climate change and the costly impacts associated with it. But I see an opportunity for Canada to continue playing a constructive role on the international stage, and here at home. We’re ready to tackle this issue together, to listen deeply to all Canadians, and work towards the common good – for our country and for our children’s future.
Whether it’s fighting climate change, creating good new jobs, or working to make sure that every Canadian has a real and fair chance at success, I know what it’s going to take to achieve these ambitious goals: persistence, diligence, and your support. And our grassroots fundraising goals are so important to ensuring we can continue working together to move Canada forward – especially as we start a new mandate, and begin a new Parliament.
