MAY END-OF-MONTH FUNDRAISING DEADLINE Fellow Conservative, Here we are – it’s May 31st and we’ve got a midnight fundraising deadline that has our campaign a bit worried. While we’ve been in this position more than 20 times before, it never really gets easy trying to close the gap between what we’ve raised in a particular month and what is left to raise before the clock strikes midnight. Here is where we stand as of right now: May was always going to be a hard month. We’re not going to match what we raised in April. Democrats have already spent more than $6 million in Oregon to elect Democrats and smear the reputation of respectable Republicans. With only six seats standing between Republicans and the House majority, every seat matters. I’ve said this time and again – but our fundraising has been suffering a bit. CHIP IN BEFORE MIDNIGHT → I officially have an opponent now and we’ve begun to receive emails from her with greater frequency, so we know that’s she raising money for herself. While we don’t have her numbers for the last two months, the one thing I know is that we’ve got to outraise her this quarter to continue the momentum we’ve built over the last year.
