We can’t believe it’s almost June.
Mainly because that means we have just five months left to elect Maura as the next Governor of Massachusetts.
And this coming month is going to be pivotal for our campaign. We’ll explain why in a moment – but if you want to pitch in right now to help grow our grassroots movement, you can make a gift here!
See, in just 3 days we have the state Democratic Convention, which will determine which candidates will get the State Party’s endorsement this year. Winning that endorsement would be a huge opportunity for us to grow our grassroots movement, which is why we’re working hard every day to build up as much support as we can now!
Beyond that, we’re going to be spending the month of June traveling with Maura to communities across Massachusetts. We’re investing a lot in building our campaign, recruiting more volunteers and team members so we can move ever closer to our goal of reaching folks in every town and every city.
And the end of June is also the end of the fundraising quarter. We set quarterly fundraising goals; hitting each goal means we’ll be able to do even more to reach voters across our state. So we’re going to be working all month to reach that goal and prepare for the next leg of the campaign.
So you can see why this next month is so important! If we can make significant progress in June we’ll get so much closer to electing Maura as our next Governor, so that she can tackle the rising cost of living, protect abortion rights, invest in housing and public transit, and make child care more affordable for everyone.
