John —
Every few months, Trump says something that reminds us how concerned we
should be about the reality of his control over our nuclear arsenal:
“I don’t want to kill 10 million people. I have plans on Afghanistan
that if I wanted to win that war, Afghanistan would be wiped off the
face of the earth, it would be gone, it would be over in literally 10
days.”
Talking about the deaths of 10 million people as an offhand comment in a
press conference is genuinely shocking — almost as shocking as the idea
that our military has walked Trump through a plan that includes such
catastrophic destruction as if it’s something we’d really consider.

Trump’s warmongering and the military industrial complex. Will you donate

Trump can’t help himself from ruining diplomatic relationships by talking
about killing one-third of the countries population. But we should be more
concerned with the fact that he’s surrounded by militaristic advisors and
defense lobby executives who are using every opportunity to push for
offensive action.
We need a foreign policy that is defined by peace, not war. [ [link removed] ]Help us
elect a new slate of progressive leaders who want to stop these endless
wars with diplomacy — not mass destruction.
