With just one week until ballots are counted in our primary election, I'm asking you to chip in a contribution of $3 to bolster our final turnout efforts. Thousands of voters across CA-49 are submitting votes, so I hope you’ll let me explain why this request is so urgent – especially given some recent news.

Last week, one of my opponents went on a local news station to smear my record and fire up far-right voters against us. Being on the receiving end of misleading attacks is not new and, frankly, expected. But seeing an opponent push lies and far-right hysterics is just a taste of what's to come.

Our campaign is staying laser-focused on local issues: I’m highlighting our push for funding and solutions to clean up the Tijuana River Valley, our progress removing spent fuel from San Onofre, and our efforts to make sure local veterans are taken care of.

This primary is our chance to prove that we have strength and grassroots support across the 49th – no matter what attacks are thrown our way. But with 7 days left, we stilI need some help:
