Did you see Trudeau’s announcement yesterday?



He intends to prohibit buying, selling, transferring, and importing handguns—effectively banning them.



I think this is complete nonsense.



This ban is nothing but theatre—Trudeau is cynically politicizing the recent tragedies in the United States.



That didn’t even happen in Canada!



The statistics are clear. Canadian firearms owners are some of the most law-abiding citizens in the country. Gun crimes are overwhelmingly committed by unlicensed criminals using stolen or illegally purchased firearms smuggled from the USA.
