The endorsement is the last alarming signal that Donald Trump's Michigan end-run might be working. He's trying to remake the Michigan GOP in his image, putting money and public support behind candidates who push his "big lie."

His end game is disturbing — if his handpicked extremists win, he hopes they will help him contest or even steal the Presidential election in 2024.
