Starting tomorrow, we will officially be less than a month away from Colorado's primary election and less than six months from the midterms on November 8. I wanted to reach out to you to explain just how important winning these elections is to Colorado and our country.

The truth is that we are at a crossroads for our nation. The midterm elections will decide if we take all the progress we've built since the 2020 elections and continue strengthening our union or if regressive agendas turn back the clock on our rights and liberties as Americans.

Statistically, the party that holds the majority going into the midterms has the most to lose out of an election. That means we have to beat the odds.

Kevin McCarthy and his allies are working day and night to buy their way into controlling the House to roll back all the progress we made. Losing the House majority would mean that the road to a better future for our country will get much harder.

But John, I know we can beat them. I know that when people move together in the name of compassion, justice, and equity, they can accomplish anything. I am fully ready to continue making progress with the House majority and serving the needs of our district in Washington. Winning the primary on June 28 will be the first step to getting there.

These elections will be won through the support of dedicated grassroots activists like you. That's why I hope I can continue counting on your support in this race, because I believe in you, and I hope you believe in me.
