Since we’re about to be one month closer to November, I wanted to take a moment and give you an update on where this race stands and why it’s so important.

It really boils down to this: Paul LePage is bad for Maine. He is a hot-tempered, radical, and spineless leader. During his time in office, he was more pre-occupied with giving family members jobs and going on bigoted rants than doing anything to help our sputtering economy.

Right now, this race is really too close to call. Gov. Mills and other Maine Democrats are counting on us to help stop a GOP takeover this November. Will you help us reach our end-of-month goals? [link removed]

We’re up against a lot here. National Republican groups are excited to support and donate to Paul LePage and the Maine GOP because they think they can flip Maine and spread their radical ideas. That makes our fight even harder.

But, I know we can win this and keep Maine blue. Our families can’t afford anything else. I’m ready for this fight, are you?
