It’s an honor to serve the people of Bend in the Oregon State Legislature, but
I cannot continue the progress we’ve made without your help. As this month
comes to a close, I need to know you’re on my team.
You see, the partisan special interests have made it their mission to derail
my re-election – because of my belief in moderate, independent leadership that
seeks bipartisan results for Bend families. They don’t like me because I
opposed their billions in tax increases that will hurt small businesses and
jobs, and because I stood up for kids while they refused to make long overdue
reforms to fix Oregon’s broken pension system that would drive more dollars
into classrooms.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you, friend. If we’re going to protect the
things that make Bend such a special place, I need your help before the month
ends.
