Like you, I’m furious and heartbroken over the senseless murders of innocents.

From the time I first entered Congress to this day, I have championed common sense gun reforms, including:

A ban on assault weapons A ban on high-capacity magazines Background checks to purchase ammunition A three-day waiting period to buy a gun “Red flag laws” which allow judges to remove guns from people who pose a risk to themselves and others Ethan’s Law (safe gun storage requirements)

I’ve called on my colleagues in the Senate to put aside their differences and pass common sense gun reform.

I’m proud that my work has earned me an “F” grade from the National Rifle Association and the distinction of being named the only Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate in my race.
