Hey John,
Today you’re probably going to receive an email from every politician in the country begging you for money so that they can meet their end-of-month deadline, but, with early voting well underway, Nevada’s First Congressional District is in dire need of immediate, drastic, transformational change.
And voters are making their voices heard AS WE SPEAK!

Las Vegas is the fastest warming, fastest growing city in the country, and as we rapidly run out of water, we are not at all prepared for what the climate crisis has in store for us if we fail to act.
On any given day, the urban core of our city—disproportionately home to our many diverse immigrant and working class communities—can be up to 20 degrees hotter than the nearby suburbs. Lake Mead has dropped to its lowest level in recorded history and continues to plummet. Despite all that, Amy’s opponent—a shamelessly corporate-funded career politician—is proposing to add a brand new city the size of St. Louis to the Southern part of the Las Vegas valley by giving away more than 30,000 acres of our precious public lands to her greedy real estate developer donors. Simply put, this plan could very well push us over the point of no return.
