Dear Friend,

Did you know that the Internet Watch Foundation called 2021 the “worst year on record” for child sexual abuse online?

This is the reality of the digital landscape facing children (and adults) today, and until now, not much has been done to curb these abuses through official policy and legislation. The burden cannot be on children and vulnerable people alone to protect themselves. Technology corporations and Congress must take a stand against the way abusers, exploiters, and profiteers are allowed to act with impunity online.

Against this backdrop, we are going to be co-hosting a national symposium at the U.S. Capitol entitled “Child Sexual Abuse, Sex Trafficking, and the Pornography Industry: Toxic Online Criminality” on June 13, 2022, from 3:00-5:00 PM ET.

Register for national symposium at the U.S. Capitol entitled “Child Sexual Abuse, Sex Trafficking, and the Pornography Industry: Toxic Online Criminality” on June 13, 2022, from 3:00-5:00 PM ET.

During this important event–which is FREE and can be attended either in-person or remotely via livestream–insight and perspective from lived-experience experts, researchers, and advocates will be shared and will highlight just how critical it is for Congress to take action to fight for an online world free of all forms of sexual abuse and exploitation.

Join us on June 13th to learn how Congress can help curb online sexual exploitation with practical policy solutions.
