That’s because Mitch McConnell and Republicans continue to do everything in their power to stop us from legislating and delivering for New Mexicans and people all over the country.

They’ve done some serious damage to our democracy and our economy over the past few years. They voted against the American Rescue Plan that saved small businesses and then tried to take credit for it. They voted against stopping price gouging from oil companies. They voted against expanding access to baby formula. They’re doing absolutely NOTHING about the epidemic of gun violence.

It’s clear that the only thing Republicans are focused on is amassing millions of dollars from dark money and wealthy elites to attack us and flip the House and Senate in 2022.

I won’t pretend like there’s not a lot of difficult work ahead. But as we see time and time again, people power is the only thing that can beat back their relentless attacks.
