Pennsylvania is the birthplace of American democracy — but in 2020, it was the center of Trump and his allies’ dangerous efforts to overturn the presidential election — and it was here that I went to court to stop them, and won.

Defending our democracy is just one of the many big fights that I’ll take on as Governor for all Pennsylvanians. Protecting abortion access, raising the minimum wage, and preserving access to the ballot box are all so important. And you have my word that I will never stop working to protect Pennsylvanians’ rights and move our democracy forward.

I knew from the start that this campaign would be one of the most competitive — and important — races in the country. I’m up against a Republican who was at the Capitol on January 6th and wants to ban abortion with no exceptions — but as extreme as he is, he’s leading the GOP here in Pennsylvania.
