The 2022 election in Iowa is going to be a big one. We’ve got a governor’s race, a Senate race, competitive House races and a legislature where both houses are controlled by Republicans.

As of right now, I’m still waiting for a Republican candidate to jump in the race against me. But I’m not taking anything for granted. The work we do on the ground to get out the vote will not only help my campaign, it will lift up other Iowa Democrats who are running in tough races.

Iowa Democrats need a massive get out the vote effort to change things around. We have been handed some tough election losses in recent years. But I know if we build a major grassroots effort on the ground, we can win local and statewide races this November.
