I’m not trying to pad my campaign warchest (as the saying goes) when I ask you to contribute to my campaign in years like 2022 where I’m not up for reelection.

It’s one of several ways I am trying to ensure Democrats keep the Senate majority this year. And I want to talk more about that today.

I also send emails and attend events for and on behalf of great candidates. So when you get an email from Mark Kelly asking you to support his campaign in Arizona, or hear about my event in support of Virginia’s three incredible Democratic Congresswomen, that’s what I mean.

And I always try to prioritize the races happening here in Virginia. Because a strong Democratic delegation from the Commonwealth makes it easier for me to fight for you.
