Invitation for Community-Based Organizations to Apply for Subawards between $50,000 - $125,000
Subawards for Field-Generated Community-Based Projects to Support Victims of Hate Crimes and Strengthen Communities

Through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), Futures Without Violence (FUTURES), seeks to strengthen the capacity of communities to better serve and support victims of hate crime. FUTURES invites applications from community-based organizations to implement field-generated projects to serve and support victims of hate crime in the communities that they serve, thereby promoting awareness, healing, reconciliation, service access and/or resource development. FUTURES will review submitted applications and select twelve community-based organizations to receive subawards between $50,000 and $125,000 to support field-generated projects to respond to hate crimes in their communities. The selected sites will be known as Community IMPACT sites. As part of this effort, FUTURES will facilitate education sessions, information exchanges, and provide technical assistance to all sites.
