John, let me tell you why I’m so proud to be in this fight with Josh Shapiro.

As our Attorney General, Josh has taken on big fights for the people of Pennsylvania — and won.

He took on predator priests in the Catholic Church to finally give survivors of childhood sexual abuse a voice. He’s taken on Big Pharma for their role in the opioid epidemic and delivered resources for treatment. He’s taken on polluters to protect our right to clean air and pure water.

And he took on Donald Trump when he tried to overturn Pennsylvania's election — defeating his election lies in court again and again to protect our democracy.

But this election will be the toughest fight yet — both for Josh and for me. Pennsylvania will likely be the closest state in the country this year, and Republicans are going to pour millions of dollars into flipping it red. Will you help us hit our first big fundraising goal of the general election so that we have the resources to win?

I’ve been so moved by the outpouring of support for our ticket for Pennsylvania. But now, we can really get things done in this race.

Between the two of us, we know how to win an election and serve Pennsylvanians from all walks of life.

I’m a lifelong resident of McKeesport — and I know the struggles working families face firsthand. After being the first in my family to graduate from college, I spent my career in public service — eventually becoming the first Black Representative of the 35th district in the Mon Valley.

I’ve always fought for working people — fighting to make health care more affordable, supporting a higher minimum wage, and working to bring good-paying jobs to Western Pennsylvania. I’m determined to fight for communities like mine that are too often forgotten in Harrisburg.

Josh has also spent his career in public service fighting for Pennsylvanians. He’s returned millions of dollars from predatory companies to the Pennsylvanians who got screwed over by them. Josh fought to defend our votes in 2020 and make sure that we have a true advocate in office.

Together, Josh and I are going to take on the big fights — including winning this Toss Up race and defending our democracy and rights from Republican attacks.
