We already knew Betsy DeVos and Donald Trump were all in to win Michigan. Now they're doubling down. Last week, the DeVos family jumped into our Governor's race, publicly backing a radical Republican who only weeks ago pushed Donald Trump's dangerous lie that Michigan's 2020 election was stolen.
The endorsement is the last alarming signal that Donald Trump's Michigan end-run might be working. He's trying to remake the Michigan GOP in his image, putting money and public support behind candidates who push his "big lie."
His end game is disturbing — if his handpicked extremists win, he hopes they will help him contest or even steal the Presidential election in 2024.
The DeVos family and the Michigan Republican Party are fully on board with Donald Trump and his blatant attacks on democracy and our freedom to vote. We must fight back.
