“On Memorial Day – and every day – we honor the brave men and women who have stood in harm’s way and given their lives to protect our nation and defend the liberties we hold dear, and in doing so, have ensured freedom and security for generation after generation of Americans,” Burgum said. “While we know our debt to them can never be fully repaid, their sacrifice can inspire each of us to consider how fortunate we are to live in this great nation, to keep fighting for America’s future, and to support our military members and their families in every way possible. Lt. Gov. Sanford presents NDTO Global Business Awards
Lt. Gov. Brent Sanford presented awards during a ceremony at Global Business Connections, a conference hosted by the North Dakota Trade Office (NDTO) on Wednesday.
North Dakota Council on the Arts (NDCA) is exhibiting multiple Nicole Gagner oil on canvas paintings as well as small, three-dimensional painted wooden houses on the 18th observatory floor of the Capitol building through Aug. 31, 2022.
“We look forward to welcoming an increased number of visitors to the state Capitol during the summer traveling season,” said John Boyle, OMB Facility Management Director. “We enjoy being able to share the building’s rich history, unparalleled architecture and unique beauty.”
