As your Congresswoman, I’m fighting on multiple fronts: I was so honored to have my bill, the Access to Baby Formula Act, signed into law by President Biden last week. It will help improve access to infant formula amid shortages for families who participate in the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program. It passed with bipartisan support with a vote of 414-9 in the House. I am grateful to my colleagues for seeing the urgency here and working with me to get this legislation passed.

I am doing the work, but national Republicans have made it their mission to bury my record with an endless stream of sensational headlines. They are spending millions of dollars in their attempt to flip the House red – and CT-05 is one of their most coveted districts to flip in November.

This money is heading my way in the form of angry and absurd campaign ads that sow confusion and doubt. Their strategy of deflect and destroy stems from the highest ranks, and it permeates down right into CT-05.
