Joni Ernst, U.S. Senate - IA ([link removed])

Senator Joni Ernst, native of Red Oak, Iowa, has dedicated her life to her state and country, having served in the military for over 23 years and now representing Iowans in the United States Senate. Joni is working to grow a strong economy; stand up for Iowa farmers, families, and small businesses; hold Washington accountable, ensure a strong national defense, and support our veterans.

As a state senator, Joni fought to balance the state budget and helped turn Iowa’s $900 million budget deficit into a $1 billion surplus. In November 2014, Joni was elected as the first woman to serve in federal elected office from the State of Iowa and also became the first female combat veteran elected to serve in the United States Senate.

As the highest-ranking Republican woman in Congress, Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers main priorities include agriculture, rural health care, hydropower and veterans.

The congresswoman is a proponent for implementing new technologies for our military and government as a way of making a stronger national security and more efficient government. Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers is the founder and co-chair of the Congressional Military Family Caucus. She also served on the House Armed Services Committee.

Claudia Tenney is an attorney, businesswoman and advocate for the 22nd District. Her insight into public service has been shaped by experiences beyond politics, including juggling the demands of running a small business while raising her son as a single mother.

Claudia was elected to Congress in November 2016 to represent New York’s 22nd District which encompasses eight counties in Upstate New York. Prior to her election to Congress, Claudia represented portions of the 22nd District for six years in the New York State Assembly. Claudia graduated from Colgate University and the Taft College of Law at the University of Cincinnati.

Congresswoman Lisa McClain is serving her first term representing Michigan’s 10^th Congressional District having been a very successful businesswoman.

A member of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. McClain is a strong supporter of our armed forces and a voice for Michigan’s defense assets including Selfridge Air National Guard Base.

McClain also serves on the House Education and Labor Committee, where she will work to advocate for schools to reopen for in-person learning full-time. On the Education and Labor Committee, McClain serves on both the Higher Education and Workforce Investment Subcommittee and the Civil Rights and Human Services Subcommittee.
