FACTSHEET: Contraceptive Access in Georgia
Posted by Community Based Research Program Team, 1 min
Hello John More than 19 million US women with low incomes live in contraceptive deserts—counties in which there is not reasonable access to contraceptive healthcare. In Georgia alone, there are 632,230 women who lack access to birth control, abortion services, and other critical reproductive healthcare that allows us to have control over our bodies. That's why we've prepared this special report on the realities of accessing contraceptive healthcare in Georgia. We're also inviting Atlanta residents to join our Community Listening Session on Contraceptive Access, next Monday, June 6 at our MotherHouse headquarters. Registration is free and you can earn $50 for sharing your contraceptive access story. Learn more and register today.
