Arlington Chamber 36th Annual Best Business Awards Review
2022 Arlington Best Business Award Winners & Hall of Fame Inductee (L-R: Brian Mochizuki, Alejandra Santaolalla, Sonia Johnston, Bob Ackers, John Snedden)
On Wednesday, May 26, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 36th Annual Arlington Best Business Awards at the Army Navy Country Club, sponsored by VIDA Fitness. The Best Business Awards are presented to area businesses that consistently deliver exceptional quality of service to their customers, are industry leaders or offer a unique approach to delivery of goods or services, achieve significant growth or stability over the lifetime of their business, display an interest and concern for the success of the Arlington community, and demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The Chamber received 34 submissions this year, ensuring a highly competitive selection process. Six Arlington businesses were recognized for their continued service and commitment to the greater community with a Best Business Award.

Following the presentation of the awards, the Chamber inducted Sonia Johnston into the Arlington Business Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to this year's winners on your well-deserved awards! Our event photos are live on our Facebook page and can be found here. Be sure to tag yourself and your friends!

Join us for Blind Spotting: Identify and Diagnose the Hidden Barriers between You, Your Team, and Your Success, presented by Holly Harper with Blue Bike Communications.

As a business leader, you’re entrusted to make decisions that have consequences with ripple effects throughout an organization. People who work for you depend on your judgment. When communication breaks down, trust erodes and instability seeps in. This is a problem no one can solve alone because we are a part of the dynamic itself. You need another perspective. This workshop walks you through the basic principles of identifying blind spots in organizations, communicating up and down the "org chart," and helping identify where your values and actions are not aligned and what to do to fix it.

Hello everyone, I am Will Mulligan, the new Membership Engagement Manager at the Chamber. I am happy to be joining the Chamber staff as of May 1, 2022, and begin working with all of our members.

I was born in Worchester, Massachusetts and I graduated from Murray State University in 1998 with a degree in Political Science and Economics. Since then, my professional career has given me the amazing opportunity to live all over the country. I have spent the last two years as the Executive Director of the Indian River Michigan Chamber of Commerce, so I am bringing in a lot of great experience to my role here in Arlington.
