John —

In just a moment, we’re going to ask you to chip in $3 to help us Defend the Senate ahead of tonight’s end-of-month fundraising deadline.

But first, here are 3 things you should know:

— Right now, Democrats have a razor-thin majority in the Senate. All Republicans need to do is flip one seat and it will be back under Mitch McConnell’s control.

— Democrats are facing tight races in our must-win battleground states. Recent polls in Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and New Hampshire all show close races.

— That means we’ve got our work cut out for us. If we’re going to defend these key seats — and our majority along with it — then we need this grassroots team to step up now, ahead of tonight’s end-of-month deadline.

So we’re asking: Can you make a $3 contribution before midnight? We’re so close to reaching our $25,000 end-of-month fundraising goal.[[link removed]]

Reproductive rights, voting rights, and affordable healthcare are all on the ballot this November. If we allow Mitch McConnell and his Republican cronies to take back Senate control, the consequences could be disastrous.

Thanks for anything you can contribute to help us fight back.
