From day one, I centered my run for Congress on finding common ground with individuals across the political spectrum so we could make progress on the issues that affect Central Virginia families. That message resonated with voters across our district -- and the nation -- who were sick and tired of politicians who deepened partisan wounds by isolating themselves in the extreme corners of their parties.

Their inaction hurt everyday Americans, and together, we said “no more.” Instead, our new generation of leaders is building bridges -- not burning them.
