Yesterday, Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin, who rightly called out Beto at our press conference on Wednesday, asked the Federal Government to investigate the facts surrounding the tragic events of Tuesday. Over Memorial Day Weekend, there are always a lot of war movies on television. If you haven’t seen Taking Chance, based on a true story, it’s on a few video services for $2.99-3.99.




It’s a movie about taking a fallen soldier back to his family after his body arrives back in the states. I saw it years ago. It’s a touching portrait of one soldier’s journey home.
