My team just wrapped up an emergency fundraising meeting. Right now, Chuck Grassley is smearing me across the entire state with a new TV attack ad, and Mitch McConnell is raising millions more to stop me from turning Iowa blue.

But with less than 36 hours until my most important end-of-month deadline of the entire campaign, we just checked ActBlue – and our grassroots fundraising has slowed way down. If I’m going to send Chuck Grassley packing and protect our Democratic Senate majority, I’m counting on a surge of donations from people like you now.

The polling shows Grassley has never been more vulnerable, and we’re gaining ground. But Iowa was one of the closest Senate races in the country in 2020, and it’ll be even closer this year. If we miss our $250,000 fundraising goal now, we will not be able to reach all of Iowa with our counter ads and compete with Mitch’s millions.

I’m not giving up – but I’m depending on you to maintain our momentum and win. If we turn Iowa blue this November, Democrats are guaranteed to protect our majority in the Senate.
