Dear John,
This Thanksgiving, my family found time to play board games together. We dusted off an old edition of “Careers,” where players go through life, find jobs, and raise families. But I soon realized that perhaps we should have left it in the attic – the game only lets the female players choose from a few jobs while allowing the male ones to choose whatever they want. I’m glad this is no longer the world we live in, but we still have much further to go.
As I reflect on what I’m thankful for, I can’t help but think of every single friend, donor, and volunteer who is backing this campaign. Our supporters are incredible, and I know that you can rise to the occasion once more. As the Finance Director, I’m hoping you can help us accomplish one more thing before the end of the month tonight:
We have just $578 left to raise to hit our November goal. Will you be the donor that gets us over our goal?
I’m amazed that in such a short amount of time, hundreds of people have come together to help move our vision forward. A vision in which everyone gets to choose the future they want, regardless of the hand they were dealt at birth. This campaign is only possible because of you.
