I've been in touch with Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan's campaign, and I just got word that they're still trailing their goal by more than $20,000 heading into tomorrow night's public fundraising deadline.

That's a problem. After tomorrow night, Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan's latest fundraising numbers will be made public for the first time since the Minnesota Republican Party endorsed far-right extremists Scott Jensen and Matt Birk to lead their ticket.

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan are in one of the closest governors races in the entire country. If they come up short tomorrow night, it'll look like they're already losing steam, which will mean even more national Republican money will be headed to our state earlier than anyone anticipated.

We can't afford to lose Tim and Peggy, John. Will you join me in rushing a donation that works for you to help them make up the difference?

With the Supreme Court poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, we must use every line of defense we can to protect the fundamental right to an abortion. As the only U.S. Senator to have worked at Planned Parenthood, I know we can trust Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan to hold the line at the state level.

The Republican-endorsed candidate for governor has pledged to pass an abortion ban without exceptions for victims of rape or incest. It’s an unconscionable and inhumane position, and we can’t let him win.

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan always lead with integrity and courage and take on incredibly difficult fights on behalf of all Minnesotans when we need them most.

As we work together to stop this Republican Party from taking us backward, we need Tim and Peggy fighting for us more than ever, which is why we need to do whatever it takes to make sure they hit this target by tomorrow night.
