John — When I got deployed to Afghanistan, our politicians told us we were there to keep terrorism out of our own country.
But now, thanks to more than a decade of inaction from our politicians, I have to warn my 6-year-old and 8-year-old that they could become the victims of terrorism in their own classrooms. It doesn’t have to be this way.
We can't let the corrupt politicians and corporate elites who let this happen continue to call the shots in our country. It’s time to put real people — folks who know how to take care of each other — in charge.
