One of the most important findings in Robert Mueller's report was the fact that there was rampant interference by foreign entities in our 2016 elections. What's most outrageous to me is that the Trump administration and Mitch McConnell have blocked efforts to prevent that kind of interference going forward.

Inaction on this issue isn't acceptable. Even if the administration won't protect our elections, Congress has a responsibility to do so. That's why I've introduced the Preventing Adversaries Internationally from Disbursing Advertising Dollars (or PAID AD) Act.

The PAID AD Act would prevent foreign governments from buying "issue advertisements" in election years, and it would stop foreign nationals from paying for TV or digital ads that mention political candidates.

I'm committed to making sure our elections are safe from foreign meddling, and I want to know what you think about the issue too. Will you take my survey and let me know your thoughts on foreign interference in our elections?
